Increased activity at Zurich Airport
The desire to travel and the easing of travel restrictions by many countries are noticeable at Zurich Airport. The medical situation has steadily improved in recent weeks, at least in large parts
of Europe, and the federal government no longer generally advises against travel. Whether family visits, vacations or business appointments - after more than a year of the Corona pandemic, life
is gradually returning to Zurich Airport.
Recommendations for travelers
Due to extended document checks, the waiting times at check-in may be longer. We recommend that passengers arrive at Zurich Airport at least two hours prior to departure and, where required,
arrive tested and informed about the regulations in their destination countries. This includes information about applicable test certificates as well as entry and quarantine regulations.
Passengers are also asked to have all the necessary documents ready at check-in, to ensure the fastest possible processing. Whenever possible, web check-in is also recommended.
